Is Sky-Tek High Speed Internet available where I live?

Our High Speed internet service is available to most of Cherokee County & parts of Clay County, NC.  If you are living in the either of those counties please feel free to fill out the sign up form.   After you sign up, we will set up a time to come to your property and conduct a site survey.  We will explore all possible methods to make the internet connection available to you.

Is there a cap on how much data I can use?

Absolutely Not!  You will never be charged a data overage fee or have your connection shut off for using too much data.  So feel free to stream your favorite movies, video chat with your friends and family, and download your favorite tunes – without worry.

How do I pay my bill each month?

Sky-Tek makes it simple. No action is required if you elect for automatic bill pay. Monthly payments will be debited through a secure automatic electronic payment process with the card you provided on file. Automatic payments eliminate the need to mail a check, stand in line, or worry about your payment while traveling. Your payment will be processed on the 3rd of each month.

Can I use services like Netflix, Hulu, & Vudu to stream movies and TV Shows?

Yes. Those services are supported by Sky-Tek, although we do recommend having a 6mbps connection for a crystal clear viewing experience?

Will the connection provide wireless internet to my whole house?

In order to provide wireless internet to your entire home, it will require the purchase of a wireless router.  Your installer can bring a router at the time of installation and it can be paid on your first bill.

Can I use VOIP phone services like Vonage or Phonepower?

Absolutely!  Your Sky-Tek installer can even help you get set up and ready to go.  Just let us know that you are interested in VOIP at the time of sign up and we’ll help you out.
